The Alfred Village Band has been playing on a public venue in the Village of Alfred for over fifty years. The band currently plays on the village lawn on Main Street on Wednesday nights in the month of July at 7:15 p.m. In the event of bad weather, Alfred University ususally provides an indoor area for the band and the audience.
